AMG Specialty Hospital- Albuquerque is seeking Full-Time Respiratory Therapists (RT) for Day Shifts. This role involves administering therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care, operating ventilators, and providing CPR when required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved respiratory care program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of one to three years of related work experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care and life support for patients with cardiopulmonary needs.
• Operate and monitor ventilators and medical gas delivery devices.
• Administer medications, humidification and aerosols; manage airways.
• Provide primary CPR assistance as needed.

Performanceof technical work concerned with administering therapeutic and diagnosticrespiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficienciesand abnormalities. Operating and monitoring respiratory equipment, suchas, continuous and intermittent ventilators, medical gas delivery apparatus,incentive breathing/hyperinflation devices, environmental control systems, andaerosol devices; administering medical gases, humidification, aerosols, andrespiratory medications; maintaining clearance of patients natural andartificial airways; providing primary assistance in cardiopulmonaryresuscitation;
