  • Secondary Location: Aurora Sinai Medical Center - Milwaukee
  • Pay Range: $32.45/hour - $48.70/hour
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Seniority level: Entry level

Responsibilities
  1. Support patient assessment using various respiratory therapy skills and tools.
  2. Operate ventilators and assist with procedures.
  3. Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
  4. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
  5. Educate patients on therapies and disease management.
  6. Collaborate with departments and problem solve clinical issues.
  7. Follow policies, perform duties, and uphold standards as directed.
  8. Ensure safety and report safety events.
  9. Precept and educate new staff and students.
  10. Provide age-appropriate care, understanding growth and development stages.
Requirements
  • State RCP license
  • Active NBRC RRT or CRT credential (depending on timing)
  • BLS certification
  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory program (minimum associate degree)
  • No prior experience required
  • Skills: organization, communication, problem-solving, computer literacy, teamwork, time management
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment and patients safely
