Responsibilities:

Under general supervision and medical direction, performs respiratory care-related procedures. Exercises judgment in accordance with physician's treatment plan and departmental policies. Responsibilities include:

• Patient/family assessment and management
• Resource management and care facilitation
• Discharge planning
• Assessing resident's condition, administering therapies and medications, recording progress
• Providing in-service training to residents, families, and staff
• Managing airway care, life support systems, and ventilators
• Participating in emergency procedures and resuscitation
• Performing assessments and formulating care plans
• Instructing residents and families on respiratory procedures
• Maintaining equipment and supplies
• Documenting all care and procedures accurately
• Participating in educational and quality assurance activities

Qualifications:

• Completion of an NBRC-accredited respiratory therapy program
• At least one year of clinical practice experience under medical direction
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Current State Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner

Posted Salary Range: USD $40.00 - USD $42.00 /Hr.
