Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for travel assignments in Memphis, TN. The RT provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor to patients of all ages in diverse healthcare settings.

Requirements include current RT certification or registration for the state, CPR if applicable, and the ability to meet federal, state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices.
• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under doctor's direction.
• Treat conditions affecting the pulmonary system and assist patients from infants to the elderly in various health care settings.

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonarytherapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditionsthat affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having troublebreathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health caresettings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registrationfor the state in which he/she practices
