Job summary

Compass Memorial Healthcare in Iowa is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a weekend option. The role requires graduate of AMA approved school, Iowa licensure, PALS and ACLS, and experience in cardiopulmonary services, including mechanical ventilators, EKGs, Holter monitors, and overnight oximetry.

Candidates with knowledge of PFTs are preferred. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care with a compassionate team in a community-focused hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Current state of Iowa Respiratory Therapy Licensure.
• PALS and ACLS certification.
• Previous experience in all aspects of Cardiopulmonary Services.
• Knowledge of mechanical ventilators, invasive and non-invasive, performing EKG’s, Holter Monitors and overnight oximetry.
• Prefer previous experience and/or knowledge of PFT’s.
• Previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services.
