Qualifications

  • Complete a respiratory care program accredited by the CoARC or its successor.
  • Active full license to practice as an RT and RRT credential required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of airway management, ventilation, and respiratory care modalities.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and evaluate clinical data to ensure appropriate care.
  • Perform basic and advanced respiratory procedures for adults and geriatric patients.
  • Monitor patients on mechanical ventilation and assist with diagnostic tests (ABG, spirometry).
  • Communicate changes in care plans to the health care team and providers.
