A leading healthcare provider in Oklahoma City seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist RRT to join the respiratory care team. You will provide essential respiratory services, ensuring quality care for pediatric patients at The Children's Hospital. The position requires a valid Oklahoma license and commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.

We use a team approach to treat and provide a range of pulmonary interventions and therapies for women and children.
General Description:
Under general supervision, will provide services for the Respiratory Therapy Department in a timely and efficient manner for all appropriate age levels and in all areas that are served by the department.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduation from an approved therapist program for Respiratory Therapy.
Experience: Two (2) years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required: Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT). Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care. BLS(American Heart Association) upon hire.
Special Requirement: If hired without current RRT registration, incumbents must receive the RRT registration within six months from the date of their graduation from the approved therapist program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of procedures and techniques of Respiratory Therapy and the operation and repair of respiratory equipment. Clinical decision making skills appropriate to patient care as it relates to the pulmonary and cardiac system and to the age of the patient. Ability to interpret the appropriate information to identify patient's needs. Ability to work under stress. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and staff. Some computer skills.
