INTEGRIS Health Respiratory Therapist RRT Position - Woodward, OK

INTEGRIS Health in Woodward, Oklahoma's largest not-for-profit health system, has a great opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist RRT. This full-time position (7p-7a) involves working with our Pulmonary Medicine team to provide exceptional patient care. Position Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist RRT is responsible for managing and delivering patient care within their assigned areas, requiring population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Registry-eligible Respiratory Therapy School
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (must become registered within 12 months of hire; failure to do so will result in transfer to a CRT Therapist position)
  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License issued by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision (OSBMLS); temporary practice letter may be issued until licensure is obtained
  • At least 1 year of full-time respiratory care experience or recent clinical practicum in an accredited program
  • RRT certification and Conscious Sedation Certification (required before participating in IV Conscious Sedation procedures)
  • Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • BLS certification or obtain within 60 days of hire
Additional Responsibilities (DME Department)

For employees in the DME department, responsibilities include scheduling PAP therapy, maintaining documentation and inventory, providing patient education, and downloading therapy results.

Physical Demands & Safety

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting and exposure to hazards including infections, chemicals, and workplace violence. Safety precautions and proper training are essential. On-call status may be required.
