Job summary

Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for per diem days (9am-5pm) in Summit, NJ. You will perform pulmonary function testing, provide patient education, and document care in the EMR, while supporting the team across the Pulmonology service.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, CPAP/BIPAP preparation, spirometry with Carefusion Vyntus, billing support, and ensuring safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• AS degree in respiratory therapy is required.
• Active NJ license and NBRC RRT credential within 1 year.
• BLS is required; ALS is expected or planned.

Responsibilities

• Perform spirometry, lung volumes and diffusion capacity.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EMR.
• Set up CPAP/BIPAP equipment and assist with sleep studies.
• Triage and respond to patient calls related to PFT/CPAP.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety practices.
