Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide critical care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages in the NICU and pediatrics units. The role involves operating respiratory care equipment, performing technical procedures, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

1. Set up and operate various respiratory care equipment
2. Perform procedures related to cardiopulmonary hemodynamics
3. Provide airway care and assess patients
4. Interpret results and suggest treatments
5. Document patient care accurately and timely
6. Communicate with physicians and nurses regarding patient care plans

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (NBRC)
• Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification for NICU staff
• ACLS certification for ICU staff
• Preferred: Acute Care Hospital experience
