Job summary

North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a PRN role. You will examine and treat patients with breathing-related conditions, perform diagnostic tests, and collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in state of practice.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measures and monitors lung function and respiratory status.
• Delivers prescribed respiratory therapies and tracks patient response.
• Responds to codes and emergent calls; provides appropriate interventions.
• Evaluates and contributes to respiratory care policies and procedures.
• Educates patients and families on therapies, devices, and resources.
• Maintains respiratory equipment and supplies; ensures readiness.
