A leading healthcare provider seeks a skilled Respiratory Care Technician to join its team at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. The role involves delivering high-quality respiratory care, maintaining compliance with regulations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Candidates must hold relevant certifications and possess strong communication and customer service skills in a challenging work environment focused on patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
Performs all aspects of Respiratory Care under limited supervision of a Critical Care Therapist or Respiratory Supervisor on patients of all ages with a high degree of skill, quality, and accuracy. Ensures that all Respiratory Care procedures are provided to properly identified patients according to MMH policy and procedure, maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA regulations. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced customer service skills. Prior Pulmonary Function Tech experience, working with patients needing oversight for our Pulmonary Service line. Communicates effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
