Qualifications

  • Doit être diplômé d'un programme de soins respiratoires approuvé par l'AMA.
  • Doit être licencié par le Florida Department of Health.
  • Certification PALS requise dans les 6 mois suivant l'emploi.

Job description

Responsibilities

Performs all aspects of Respiratory Care under limited supervision of a Critical Care Therapist or Respiratory Supervisor on patients of all ages with a high degree of skill, quality, and accuracy. Ensures all Respiratory Care procedures are provided to properly identified patients according to MMH policy and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA regulations. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate advanced customer service skills. Prior Pulmonary Function Tech experience is preferred, with oversight for our Pulmonary Service line. Communicates effectively with multidisciplinary teams and demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved Respiratory Care program or equivalent, registered by NBRC as an RRT.
  • Licensed by the Florida Department of Health, Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Therapist in good standing.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of employment.
  • NRP certification required for NICU work.
  • ACLS preferred.
