Location: Akron, OH 44307
Duration: 12 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Orientation: 16 Hours (Non-Billable)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care services within a hospital environment. The therapist will work night shifts and may be required to float between affiliated facilities as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer safe and effective respiratory therapy to patients of varying acuity levels.

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including ventilation management, airway care, and oxygen administration.

• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy, documenting and reporting changes as appropriate.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Float between designated facilities as needed to meet operational needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) .

• CRT or RRT credentials accepted.

• NBRC and AHA BLS certifications – must be active and in hand at the time of submission.

• Active Ohio Respiratory License – required prior to submittal.

• Contract Length: 8 or 12 weeks.

• Must be willing to float as needed to nearby affiliated facilities (including Hillcrest, Avon, Medina, and Lutheran).

• All work history , including prior positions with the facility network, must be fully documented in the submission profile.

• All RTO and scheduling requests must be communicated during both submission and interview.
