Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for full-time nights. The role provides full-time benefits and a night schedule in a busy acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program.
• Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through American Heart Association.

RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (RRT)- FULLTIME NIGHTS

This opportunity is full-time at 36 hours per week, offers full-time benefits and a convenient night shift schedule.

Is able to cross train in other areas and willing to float to fulfill hospital needs. Participates in department QI studies, Inservices, and meetings. Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead. Verbalizes stroke alert process. Assesses and maintains airway, assists with intubation, transport of the intubated stroke patient. Maintains currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 1 hour online training.

• Graduate of an AMA approved program. Current registered respiratory therapist license in the State of Florida.
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Minimum one (1) year experience in an acute care hospital which includes adult critical care.
