TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN for night shifts to provide respiratory, pulmonary function, and oxygen therapies with strong clinical judgment and patient care focus.

You will manage clerical duties, support shift leadership when assigned, and meet annual performance goals while adhering to safety and confidentiality standards.

Competenze

• Graduate of an NBRC approved school of Respiratory Care.
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the Tennessee Department of Health.
• Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRTT) designation.
• Basic Life Support Certification upon hire.
• Ability to obtain ACLS certification within one year of hire.

• Exercise rational judgment while performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Manage clerical duties associated with respiratory procedures.

• Utilize personal protective equipment and follow safety protocols for hazardous materials.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The staff respiratory care practitioner provides a variety of technical and clinical therapies to patients of all ages, requiring strong clinical judgment and a commitment to the hospital mission. In this role, you will deliver respiratory, pulmonary function, and oxygen therapies while managing associated clerical duties and potentially serving as a shift leader. You will work in a dynamic environment that may include exposure to medical equipment noise and hazardous materials, requiring a flexible schedule to meet patient demands and hospital census needs.
