Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility in Denison, Texas, provides respiratory therapy services to patients with a range of conditions. The role involves delivering therapeutic treatments, performing diagnostic testing, and assisting in patient assessment.

You will also serve as a preceptor for fellow therapists. Candidates should have an associate degree in respiratory therapy and RRT licensure with NBRC registration, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Position Summary

To provide therapeutic modes of respiratory treatments to all patients. In addition to duties of a certified respiratory therapist, may perform advanced diagnostic testing, patient assessment, and intervention. Serves as a preceptor for other therapists.

• $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS***

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate degree from a respiratory therapy education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care unless licensure was obtained prior to November 11, 2009.
• One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
• Licensed as a RRT by the Texas Medical Board and registered by NBRC.
• BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS, and PALS Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting. NRP within 90 days of employment.
