What We're Looking For

• Education: 2‑year/Associate Degree required; 4‑year/Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Licensure/Certification: Current RCP licensure in appropriate state required

What You'll Do

• Serve as a patient advocate and incorporate education into the interdisciplinary care plan
• Prioritize job duties according to patients' needs and changing acuity levels, ensuring timely completion of care interventions and medical orders
• Administer and evaluate medication therapies; perform patient transfers and transports
• Evaluate patient needs and provide appropriate routine respiratory care such as ABGs, bronchial hygiene therapy, etc., and perform higher levels of care in critical care areas and emergent situations
• Demonstrate independence in the specialty of Respiratory Care and practice according to state requirements and standards
• Ventilator management, code blue, airway management, interpretation and intervention with blood gas analysis, use of related protocols for patient care (Critical Care Specific)
• Document care in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory requirements
