Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract in the electrophysiology lab. The RRT will circulate, monitor, and assess patients during procedures, focusing on cardiac rhythm issues and care of adults and geriatrics, while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with rotating late shifts; no weekends or holidays required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RRT in electrophysiology labs.
• Valid RRT with BLS/ACLS certifications on file.
• Epic EMR experience required; scrub experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory therapy services in a clinical setting. RRTs are expected to float to various units within their competencies and must maintain flexibility in their scheduling to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Circulate, monitor, and assess patients undergoing procedures with moderate sedation.
• Provide respiratory therapy for adult and geriatric patients, focusing on cardiac rhythm issues.
• Conduct assessments and prepare patients for procedures in the electrophysiology lab.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RRT, with specific expertise in electrophysiology labs.
• Valid RRT certification with BLS/ACLS certifications on file at the time of submission.
• Proven experience in circulating, monitoring, and providing assessments during procedures.
• Epic EMR experience required, with a preference for scrub experience as well.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
