ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night assignment in South Carolina.

The RRT will work 3x12-hour nights (6:45 PM–7:15 AM) with holiday rotation and every-other weekend, providing critical care and labor/delivery respiratory services, and collaborating with a hospital team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Requires SC Respiratory Care Provider license at start.
• NBRC (RRT) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in critical care.
• Experience with Epic charting.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and monitoring of patients' respiratory status.
• Intervene in emergency situations, including intubations and extubations.
• Ensure proper functioning of respiratory equipment.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory therapy services in various areas of the hospital, including critical care and labor and delivery. The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments.
• Perform assessments and monitoring of patients' respiratory status.
• Intervene in emergency situations, including intubations and extubations.
• Ensure proper functioning of respiratory equipment.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding respiratory care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license at the time of start.
• National certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in critical care settings.
• Experience with charting in Epic required.
