Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Alma, MI. The position runs on a 12-hour night shift schedule: 6:30 PM–7:00 AM, with three shifts per week and 36 scheduled hours.

This travel role requires a minimum of 2 years of RRT experience, active NBRC RRT certification and Michigan license, and current AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Travel reimbursement and housing support may be provided by ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RRT experience.
• Travel work experience preferred.
• Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Active NBRC RRT certification.
• Active Michigan license.

Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Description

This position, independently or in consultation with a physician, administers medications, performs various types of therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for the cardio-pulmonary system, responds to arrest and emergency situations, and provides CPR and life support systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs Respiratory care to evaluate and treat protocol evaluations.
• Delivers medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers.
• Responds to all Rapid Responses, arrest, or STAT situations immediately, maintaining artificial airways, and respiration and cardiac compressions.
• Sets up and maintains all oxygen according to protocol.

Schedule

This position operates on a night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RRT experience (required).
• Previous travel work experience (preferred).
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification (required).
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification (required).
• Active American Heart Association PALS certification (required).
• Active RRT certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) (required).
• Must have an active Michigan/MI license (required).
