Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our care team in Washington. The RT will support residents with respiratory needs, working closely with nursing and therapy staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include performing treatments, monitoring status, documentation, and education for residents, families, and staff. Relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus are offered, with flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State license or certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program; CRT or RRT preferred.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.
• Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment
