Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Yavapai Regional Medical Center seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients with breathing issues. You will manage nebulizer treatments, ventilator care, oxygen therapy, and external ventilation support within a high-urgency environment.

You will Assess patients, develop care plans, and respond calmly in routine and emergent situations, applying critical thinking and strong problem-solving to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of AMA Respiratory Therapy program.
• Must hold AZ Board license and CRT certification; BLS/ACLS/PALS; NRP within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of basic respiratory care for all patient populations.
• Perform and document complete patient assessments with each ventilator check and treatment.
• Check equipment, maintain alarms, and document accurately.
• Perform ABGs, handle blood specimens, report critical values, maintain logs.
• Accurately complete patient billing and charge/label/discard medications.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program
