A leading hospital in Grand Junction is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist proficient in providing comprehensive respiratory care and diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, relevant certifications, and a current Colorado license. This role offers competitive hourly compensation along with various discretionary benefits.
Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Description:
● Location: Respiratory Therapy Department at the Hospital
● Position: Open until July 30, 2025 or until filled
Responsibilities:
● Perform quality respiratory care, cardiopulmonary, and neuro-diagnostics.
● Provide respiratory therapy treatments: oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, IPPB,
chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, sputum induction.
● Conduct cardio-pulmonary diagnostics: ECGs, cardiac stress testing, Lexiscan,
dypridimal, dobutamine, stress echocardiogram, tilt test, holter scanning, PFT, ABG
sampling and analysis, bronchoscopy assistance, EEGs, home sleep studies, and
nocturnal oximetry.
● Document patient records per departmental standards.
Requirements:
● High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s Degree preferred).
● Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
● Current BLS certification. ACLS required within 6 months of employment.
● Current, unrestricted Colorado license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
● CRT required, RRT within 2 years, NRP preferred.
Compensation:
● Pay range: $34.00 - $39.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
● Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments,
recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
