Christie Clinic's department of Pulmonary Medicine is seeking a PRN (as needed) Respiratory Therapist between the hours of Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with the ability to travel to Danville and Bloomington, as needed.
Duties include the delivery of respiratory care therapeutic treatments to patients who have breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Other duties include evaluating patients by performing diagnostic tests and conducting limited physical examinations.
A CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) license, Illinois State license to practice respiratory care, and a CPR certification are required. A CPFT (Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist) license must be obtained within 1 year of service. An RRT/RPFT is preferred, or to be acquired by 3 years of service.
