Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Current state licensure required.
• Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive chest assessments and respiratory examinations.
• Consult with physicians and team members to develop treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic testing like lung capacity measurements.
• Administer therapies such as oxygen therapy and aerosol medications.
• Manage ventilator-dependent residents.
• Educate residents and families on respiratory treatments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and treatments.
