Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital in Covington, GA, seeks a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver compassionate, high-quality respiratory care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires proper credentialing and licensure, performing patient assessments, procedures, blood gas analysis, equipment maintenance, and patient education, with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Required.
• No experience required.
• CRT - Certified Respiratory Therapist and Licensed by the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 Days Required

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
