Job summary

Quipt Home Medical in Wisconsin and Oregon is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (PRN) to join their team. You will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment and providing care to patients in home and hospital settings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver respiratory equipment promptly.
• Complete paperwork accurately for delivery and pick-up.
• Provide patient instruction on proper use of equipment.
• Perform follow-up calls after equipment setup.
• Provide follow-up care as needed.

Position

Respiratory Therapist (PRN)

General Description

We are seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment promptly after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment. The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including, but not limited to, non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting
• Complete delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately
• Provide patients with instruction on proper use, maintenance, and safety of their medical equipment
• Perform follow-up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up
• Provide follow-up care in the home setting as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Successful completion of a background check
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license
• Must hold an active RRT or CRT license
