Job summary

Quipt Home Medical in Concord, NC is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist for a PRN role to support home-care patients. The therapist will set up respiratory equipment after physician orders and manage ventilator care.

Responsibilities include delivering and configuring non-invasive ventilators and BiPAP devices, training patients on use and safety, completing paperwork promptly, and providing follow-up care in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in home respiratory care
• Experience with ventilator management in home settings
• Active RRT or CRT license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in hospital and home settings
• Completes delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately
• Provides patients with instruction on use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment
• Performing follow up calls with patients after setup; provide follow-up home care as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Position

Respiratory Therapist (PRN)

General Description

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment in a prompt manner after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment. The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including, but not limited to, non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting
• Completes delivery and pick up paperwork promptly and accurately
• Provides patients with instruction on the proper use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment
• Performing follow up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set upProviding follow up care in the home setting as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Successful completion of a background check
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver's license
• Must hold an active RRT or CRT License
