Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited respiratory care program.
• Must hold current state licensure as an RCP.
• NBRC-certified: RRT or CRT.
• Minimum of one year of experience (excluding orientation).
• ACLS and PALS certifications for ER staff.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to handle respiratory equipment.
• Preferred experience in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory patient care.
• Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness.
• Act as an advanced resource for medical staff.
• Perform duties using various respiratory devices.

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
• Valid state licensure with current RCP license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from NBRC
• Minimum of one year of experience (excluding orientation)
• Certifications in ACLS; PALS for ER staff
• Physical ability to handle equipment and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs
• Preferred critical care experience
