Role:

Respiratory Therapist RRT - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with respiratory procedures and provide therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients according to hospital policies.
• Assess patients to determine appropriate treatment methods, document activities, and communicate treatments clearly to patients and families.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy, with special attention to pediatric and neonatal cases, and provide education to patients and staff.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or registry-eligible, with Illinois licensure within 6 months.
• Current CPR certification; ACLS, NRP, and PALS required within 24 months.
