Job summary

The Respiratory Care Practitioner at La Paz Regional Hospital provides comprehensive respiratory care to neonates through geriatrics in Parker, AZ. You will assess patients, administer therapies, manage oxygen delivery, monitor ventilators, and perform diagnostic procedures per physician orders and protocols.

You will collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and the care team to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate treatment while documenting accurately and adhering to department

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Arizona State Respiratory Therapist License and CRT or RRT credential.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy treatments, oxygen delivery systems, ventilation, and airway management.
• Ability to operate respiratory care equipment and document findings.
• Strong English communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages per orders and protocols.
• Assess conditions, administer treatments, monitor oxygen systems and ventilation.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and document patient care accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
