Qualifications

• Zero to less than 1 year of experience in Respiratory Care with an Associate of Resp. Care from an accredited CoARC institution.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist or new graduate, RRT required within 3 months.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification must be completed within 3 months of hire.
• PALS certification must be completed within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations.
• Performs direct patient care and Respiratory Care procedures.
• Participates in RC educational activities & departmental meetings.
• Documents & maintains records, charts, and reports.
• Responds to emergency alerts in a timely manner.
• Evaluates patient care and makes recommendations.
