Job summary

Seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care and pulmonary function testing to patients in accordance with physician orders and established standards. You will also supervise and educate subordinate staff and contribute to continuing education programs.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating ventilation equipment, performing rounds, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Hold a current Pennsylvania State License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Certified in basic CPR Course C and registration as required.
• Sufficient prior experience in respiratory therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients as prescribed according to established standards.
• Perform pulmonary function tests as ordered by physicians.
• Set up and monitor ventilation equipment and perform suctioning as needed.
• Maintain department records, QA, safety, and infection control.
