Job summary

Select Medical in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for part-time night shifts (two 12-hour shifts weekly) at the Saint Francis site. You will evaluate patients, provide respiratory care, remove and insert endotracheal tubes when needed, and support post-ICU recovery in a high‑quality care setting.

Requirements include active NBRC CRT or RRT, current state licensure, BLS, ACLS on hire, and 1 year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: transcript/diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Location: Milwaukee St. Francis

Hours: Part Time Nights- 2 twelve hour shifts per week with rotating weekends

Compensation: $7,000 Sign-on bonus

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
