Job description

Respiratory Therapist, Outpatient Position Highlights:

  • Job Type: PRN/Pool
  • Location: Main Hospital
  • Schedule: M-F 10 Hour shifts
  • Position: Open until July 30, 2025, or until filled

Responsibilities:

  • Provides appropriate respiratory therapy treatments with protocols including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, intermittent positive pressure breathing treatments, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, or sputum induction.
  • Provides cardio-pulmonary diagnostics with protocols including electrocardiograms, cardiac stress testing, Lexiscan (cardiolite), dypridimal (persantine), dobutimine, stress echocardiogram, tilt test, holter scanning, pulmonary function testing, arterial blood sampling and analysis, bronchoscopy assistance, electroencephalograms, home sleep studies, and home nocturnal oximetry as required.
  • Documents the patient record per departmental standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. (Associate’s Degree preferred)
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Current BLS certification. ALC required within 6 months of employment.
  • Requires current, unrestricted Colorado licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
  • CRT required. RRT within 2 years. NRP preferred.

This position's pay range is: $34.00 - $39.10 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be paid to eligible employees based on organizational and individual performance.
