Job summary

Tampa General Hospital in Brooksville is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our Allied Health team. You will administer respiratory care procedures, assess patients, and collaborate with physicians to implement treatment plans.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, and registration as an RRT or CRT, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications. Night shift, 40 hours per week, Staff position. Two years of experience preferred; we offer comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required.
• Two years of Respiratory Therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Makes informed care decisions based on assessments and physician orders.
• Administers medications and therapies to patients as prescribed and documents accordingly.
• Monitors and supports mechanical ventilation and respiratory equipment.
• Communicates with physicians, nurses, and other staff to coordinate care.
• Maintains patient safety and clean, organized work environments.
• Participates in patient safety huddles and follows protocols.
