Job summary

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for FT Nights. You will provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care, manage ventilation, and support both emergency and routine patient needs while collaborating with physicians and nurses.

You will work with advanced respiratory equipment, mentor less experienced staff, educate patients and families, and help ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Valid RT licensure and NBRC-RRT certification required.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP and PALS certifications preferred or must be obtained.
• State-specific RCP/RRT credentials required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor respiratory status, adjust therapies as needed.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosols, airway clearance and related therapies.
• Assist with invasive/noninvasive ventilation and airway management.
• Educate patients/families and coordinate with care team.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to infection prevention standards.
