Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join a Level I Trauma Center and Level III NICU in New Jersey. You will deliver autonomous respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients across high-acuity settings.

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate pulmonary care, with potential growth into Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Neonatal Transport, and ECMO. Must hold state license, NBRC, and current ACLS/BLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) within one year of hire.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, autonomous respiratory care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' pulmonary needs.
• Deliver respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and cystic fibrosis patients in general units.
• Manage high-acuity cases including trauma, cardiac arrests, and emergency admissions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care throughout hospitalization.
• Utilize RT-driven protocols, including extubations, with autonomy.
