Resp Therapist - NICU, Nights
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and general and critical care respiratory care procedures.
- Provide respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery.
- Interpret blood gas analysis.
- Maintain and manage respiratory equipment.
- Educate patients and families in both adult and neonatal areas.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
- Previous experience in neonatal respiratory care, or successful completion of department‑specific orientation with competencies.
- Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners.
- Certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NRP.
- Actively practicing and maintaining required competencies in adult and neonatal respiratory care.
