Job summary

Coronado Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our night shift team, providing quality respiratory care to residents and collaborating with nurses and providers to support their comfort, safety, and well-being.

The ideal candidate will graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program, hold a Nevada license, and have CPR/BLS certification, with experience in SNF/long-term care preferred. Night availability and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Active Nevada Respiratory Therapist license (RRT/CRT preferred).
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork.
• Willing to work night shifts and weekends/holidays as required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ respiratory needs and provide treatments as ordered.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other prescribed respiratory therapies.
• Set up and monitor respiratory equipment, including ventilators, as applicable.
• Monitor residents’ responses to treatment and promptly report changes to the care team.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies within your scope of practice.
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and resident progress.
• Educate residents and families about respiratory care and equipment.
• Follow infection prevention procedures and facility policies.
