Brookwood Baptist Health in Birmingham, AL seeks a Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. The role initiates therapeutic procedures, maintains records, and operates respiratory equipment.

Schedule: 3-12 hour shifts with every 3rd weekend. The hospital offers a wide range of services including emergency care, cardiovascular care, orthopedics and rehabilitation, and a supportive benefits program starting day one.

Formación

• Associate degree from an approved Respiratory Care program.
• Eligible for NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) exam.
• Basic computer/ mechanical training required.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates competency in respiratory therapeutics and use of non-invasive ventilatory and related equipment.
• Maintains accurate and precise documentation.
• Demonstrates analytical reasoning and blends patient care management with technical expertise.
• Communicates openly with all members of the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates proficiency in quality control and maintenance of ABG analyzers and blood gas analysis.
