Job summary
Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, AL, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders on 3-12 hour shifts, every 3rd weekend.
You will initiate therapeutic procedures, maintain patient records, and operate respiratory equipment, including non-invasive ventilation and ABG analyzers, in a busy acute-care setting.

Qualifications
- Associate degree in Respiratory Care is required.
- Must be eligible for NBRC RRT exam.
- Basic computer skills required.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates competency in respiratory therapeutics and non-invasive ventilation equipment.
- Maintains accurate documentation of patient records.
- Communicates effectively with the healthcare team.
- Maintains quality control on ABG analyzers and blood gas testing.
- Adheres to Baptist Health policies and attendance standards.
- Provides care appropriate to patients' ages and conditions.
