Performs patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory procedures, respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery, blood gas analysis and interpretation, maintenance and management of equipment, and patient and family education in both adult and neonatal areas.
- Required Hours: 7pm-7am
- Minimum Education: Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited school
- Experience: Previous neonatal respiratory care experience or successful completion of department-specific orientation with skills validation
- Licensure/Certification: RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care and Georgia state license
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS (or ALS), and NRP; active practice and competency maintenance in adult and neonatal areas
- Preferred: Neonatal Pediatric Specialist credential
