Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Pensacola is seeking a New Graduate Respiratory Therapist for the Night shift (7p-7a). The role includes evaluating patients, delivering respiratory care to critically ill individuals, and participating in ongoing quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Current state licensure; student/educational permit acceptable per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: 7p-7a, 3 days per week

Pay rate: $29.73 per hour

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of accredited program for Respiratory Therapy.
• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required.
• Current state licensure required. Student or Educational permit to practice acceptable based on individual state regulations.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
