Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist with valid state licensure.
• Experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct respiratory assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide treatments to residents with respiratory ailments.
• Manage ventilator-dependent residents, ensuring proper functioning and addressing complications.
• Administer oxygen therapy, monitor levels, and adjust therapy as needed.
• Educate residents and families on respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and self-care to promote independence.
• Coordinate with physicians and nurses to ensure seamless care plans.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies with prompt interventions.
