Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist required.
• Licensed in the state of Michigan or eligible.
• Completion of a two-year accredited Respiratory Program.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders and practice standards.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and other modalities as indicated.
• Monitor cardiopulmonary status including SpO2, vitals, labs, and imaging.
• Set up and manage respiratory equipment (oxygen concentrators, AVAPs, BiPAP, CPAP, nebulizers).
• Educate residents, families, and staff on disease management and safe equipment use.
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and document outcomes.
