Qualifications

• Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology.
• Comfortable working independently and traveling locally (within a 45 minute radius).

• Monitor patient safety during procedures.
• Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site.

Title: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Lafayette, New Orleans, and Shreveport, Louisiana (local travel between clinics – 45‑minute radius)

Pay: Up to $1,200‑$1,500/week; supplemental pay for years of experience, tenure with company, and region served as applicable

About the Role

We’re hiring Respiratory Therapists and Certified Pulmonary Function Testing Technicians to perform simple spirometry testing (pre/post albuterol) at primary care clinics in Lafayette, New Orleans, and Shreveport areas of Louisiana.

The Role

What You’ll Do

• Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device
• Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy
• Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review
• Monitor patient safety during procedures
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols
• Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site
