Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a skilled nursing facility in Wichita, KS. You will assess residents, develop and implement treatment plans, and administer therapies like Acapella, IS, EZPAP, and CPT to maintain optimal lung function and prevent complications.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
• NBRC Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' respiratory status and review medical history.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Administer respiratory therapies (Acapella, IS, EZPAP, CPT).
• Monitor responses and adjust care plans with medical staff.
• Educate residents and families on respiratory health and treatment options.
• Maintain documentation in medical records.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of respiratory equipment.
