Job summary

New Jersey Respiratory is seeking multiple Respiratory Therapists to join our team in Rochelle Park, NJ. Positions are available for FT, PT or Per Diem, offering opportunities to assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders and to educate patients and their families on condition management.

Successful candidates will hold a valid state license, BLS certification, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Administer prescribed medications and oxygen therapy.
• Educate patients and families on managing conditions and breathing techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals on treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and provide life support within the scope of practice.
